Skopia Router privacy
Skopia Router (sh.skopia.router), by Seraf Inc.,
has no account, no server and no analytics. Seraf Inc. never receives
anything from your copy of the app.

What we collect
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no identifier, no crash reporting, no telemetry and no advertising. We have no way to tell whether you have ever opened the app.
What stays on your phone
- Router addresses and usernames you add, and the fingerprint of each router's HTTPS certificate, in the app's private storage.
- Router passwords, in the Android keystore
(
flutter_secure_storage), never in plain app storage.
Backups are switched off for the app: none of this is copied to a cloud backup or to a new phone. Removing a router in the app deletes its address and password; uninstalling deletes everything.
What leaves your phone
- Your router. The app signs in to the router you added and reads
and changes its settings through the router's own JSON-RPC interface
(
/ubus), the one its web interface LuCI uses. That includes your router password, sent to the router only. Information about your devices, Wi-Fi networks and connection is read from the router and shown to you; it is not sent anywhere else. - downloads.openwrt.org, at most once an hour while you use the app: a plain request for the public list of OpenWrt releases, so the app can tell you when your router has an update. It contains nothing about you or your router. The OpenWrt project's server sees an ordinary web request from your IP address.
- Links you tap, such as "Open LuCI in browser" or "Open firmware selector", open in your browser.
There is no request to any server operated by Seraf Inc., because there is no such server.
Permissions, and why
- Internet: to reach your router and the release list.
- Wi-Fi state and network state: to read your Wi-Fi gateway address and suggest it as the router's address. The app does not ask for location and never reads the name of your Wi-Fi network.
Children
This is a router tool for adults. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Not affiliated with OpenWrt
Skopia Router is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by the OpenWrt project. OpenWrt is a registered trademark owned by Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC).
